30 Hours in Seattle
For my 25th birthday, my sweet husband Taylor planned a quick little trip to Seattle. We took the train from Portland to Seattle and spent the next 30 hours exploring one of our favorite cities for the millionth time! Since my birthday is at the end of November, the city was decked out for the Holidays. I am low key obsessed with Holiday Garland, and oh boy! That Stuff was everywhere!
We started the trip by heading to Pike Place Market to grab a bite to eat and take in the full Seattle experience. We even checked out the Gum Wall like the good tourists we are. After lunch we went straight to check in to the cute and cozy Hotel Theodore. Taylor did such a great job picking the hotel, it was so cozy and so cute! After getting dressed we went to dinner at Stateside, and had some of the best food! Then we finished off the night by getting coffee at the Starbucks Reserve Store and drinks at our favorite bar, Rumba.
The next morning, after checking out of our Hotel we went straight to brunch at my new favorite place, Oddfellows cafe & Bar. After brunch, we walked off our food babies by exploring all the cute shops around Capital Hill and Downtown Seattle. Then, we checked out the Amazon Spheres, and then took an Uber to the Fremont District and I finally got to see the Fremont Troll. Continued our window shopping, and then caught our train home back to Portland! Short, but so so sweet!
I absolutely love short trips like this, especially ones with my sweet husband! It’s the perfect little getaway, without getting homesick!
Hope you all enjoy my visual diary of our trip <3
